*A Ritual To Call Upon Your Animal Totem*

I first began learning about animal totems when I was thirteen. I had repeated dreams of a blue wolf. Each time the wolf would show up in my dreams, I would avoid it. I would wake myself up to get away from it. This lasted for three months, until I faced the blue wolf one night in my dream. I realized the wolf was trying to connect to me. During my awake state, I researched at the library about wolves, lucid dreaming, and psychology.

Eventually, I performed a ritual inviting the blue wolf in to my sacred circle. When the wolf entered the circle, I felt warmth and tingle sensations. I began seeing its form with electric blue flames around it. The wolf told me it’s name, ever since, I am able to summon my blue wolf to aid in different ways.

In recent days, the White Tiger appears in my dreams offering me it’s courage, strength and positivity. Each animal totem serves as a balancer of your power. They will show up in the areas of life you need them most. Often we are not aware when they appear, we are too focused on a reality not the spiritual or ether.

*A ritual to connect to your animal totem*

Items needed; Sage, needle, cup, water, salt, yellow and purple candle.

First cleanse and purify yourself and your ritual space. Burn sage and gently wave it around you and the area using words of power. I prefer to chant this, I cleanse and purify this sacred vessel and this sacred space. Make healing energy fill this place, with love, peace and haste.

Next, write using the needle on the yellow candle, Spirit Animal Come To Me. Rub the salt on the candle while repeating the words on it out loud. Push your pointer finger of your power hand, against your third eye with the salt on it. Close your eyes and repeat the words, Spirit Animal Come To Me Salt Bless Me.

Lite the yellow candle, chant and meditate. Do this for seven minutes then blow out the candle.

Then on the purple candle using the needle write, In All Of The Worlds I Now See. Rub the water on the candle while repeating the words on it out loud. Push your pointer finger of your power hand, against your third eye with the water on it. Close your eyes and repeat the words, In All Of The Worlds I Now See Water Bless Me.

Lite the purple candle, chant and meditate. Do this for seven minutes then blow out the candle.

Lastly, write a petition to your animal totem, letting it know what you need help with in life and that you wish to meet it and learn about it. Seven days out, lite the yellow candle, chant, and meditate for seven minutes, repeat with the purple candle. Once finished read the petition out loud to the animal totem.

Seven days out repeat again, until you meet your animal totem.
